Tiffany is 20 years old and has autism and epilepsy, she also attends Capstone’s Transition Employment Center’s (TEC) high school-to-work program. The TEC program is a learning lab designed to help young adults, like Tiffany, to focus on job skills, academics and independence. With the training she receives at TEC, Tiffany is able to volunteer at an elementary school where she helps students and staff in the cafeteria. Her mother, Dondie, said Tiffany’s Capstone program is a God-send in providing her with life skills she needs as she advances toward adulthood and independence.
